It is noteworthy that the Arab Gulf region is witnessing an unprecedented development in the health sector. In this context, I would like to note:

Secondly, the healthcare system in the Gulf region has witnessed a great development and achievements in hospitals and in the primary health care sector. Hospitals have witnessed a great renaissance in their capabilities. The primary healthcare sector in Bahrain is considered one of the best primary healthcare
systems in the region, and globally. Soon, King Abdullah Medical City will join the healthcare system to support the health sector in Bahrain and the Gulf region.
Thirdly: establishment of highly specialized medical centers in the Gulf countries. Among these specialized centers are Princess Al-Jawhara Center for Genetic Diseases and Molecular Medicine and the Center for Regenerative Medicine at the Arabian Gulf University The Arabian Gulf University appreciates the universal health coverage adopted by the Supreme Council of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The university also supports the health sector through the academic and clinical programs offered by the university, such as personalized medicine, molecular medicine, regenerative medicine, and family medicine.
The Arabian Gulf University also had a prominent role in scientific research, as the university produced more than 200 research papers annually.
Cutting edge information in this conference will be presented on healthcare delivery, clinical practice, medical research, quality improvement and more to help physicians, and healthcare providers to best serve their patients and to make a positive impact in our region. In this, education can be a driver of
quality, innovation, and values.
In this context, this conference will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to exchange experiences, theories, and research data as well as to receive feedback from colleagues and to bring up important axes in all branches of internal medicine.
Sincere thanks are given to the scientific and organizing committees of the conference, who worked very hard to ensure the success of this conference.

The requirements for an entry visa to Bahrain differ from nationality to nationality so it is recommended to double check the requirements prior to travelling. Currently, every nationality wishing to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain requires an entry visa. The exceptions to this rule are nationals of countries members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), and residents of GCC countries who have been living in that country for more than 6 months and have valid return visa to their country of residency.

Nationals of the European Union, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea can receive an entry visa upon arrival at the airport in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

All entry visas are issued for a fee, including a new visa or visa extensions (in cases where visa extensions are allowed).

All other nationalities have to obtain pre-issued entry visa prior to travelling to Bahrain, either through the Bahraini Embassies in their respective countries or a Bahraini sponsor or travel agency or local hotel.

For visitors, there are two types of tourist visa: Visit visa and Transit visa, and they are both issued based on the required duration of stay. Visit visas are issued for individuals invited by companies in Bahrain and valid for two months from the entry date, with the possibility to extend one additional month. Transit visas are issued following a formal request from certified companies such as hotels or commercial institutions. Transit visas are valid for 14 days and are renewed on a case-by-case basis.

For more information on eVisa application, please visit www.evisa.gov.bh and fill in the required information: nationality, purpose of the visit and current address.
