She is a Senior Consultant and Head of Internal Medicine Subspecialities and Deputy of Directorate of Internal Medicine at the Royal Hospital in Muscat, Oman, where she Chairs both the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and the Infection Prevention and Control Committee. She is a member of a number of National Committees and task forces in the Ministry of Health, Oman.
