COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Provides a framework for developing and assessment skills, and knowledge of infection prevention and control surveillance and epidemiology
  • Train staff on effective work practices and procedures, such as environmental management practices including management of hospital/clinical waste
  • Reviewing the updated surveillance definitions and methods
  • Reviewing the updated GCC surveillance forms
  • Train staff on the ideal methods of HAI surveillance
