Pediatrics

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that focuses on the integral diagnosis and management of illnesses that affect newborns, infants, young children, preteens, and adolescents until the age of 18 years. In this course, the student will be introduced to the main pathologies that affect every organ system in the pediatric population, along with introductory knowledge of adolescent medicine, neonatology, child development, pediatric oncology, and genetics.
