Dr Mariam graduated in Medicine (MBBCH) from Ain Shams University- Egypt, She obtained her post graduate qualifications (Diploma) in Family Medicine From American University Of Biuret she had Community Pediatric from School of Community Pediatric- Royal Hospital for Sick Children And University of Edinburgh – Scotland – U.K. She obtained the Diploma in Health Care Management from Royal Collage of Surgeon in Ireland.
She held many managerial and leadership position in Bahrain & GCC and EMRO Region till February 2023
Director of the Public health directorate and chairman of the School Health. chairman of the National Vaccination Committee &National certification committee for Polio Eradication. Member of National NCD Prevention Committee, National Anti -Smoking Prevention Committee, National HIV/AIDS Prevention Committee. As well as she was appointed as Member of the Supreme Council of Health and undersecretary for primary health care and public health .Dr Mariam was Member in GCC Health Council and chairman for Joint Program between Ministry of Health & WHO and EMRO Region .
Dr Mariam led many program, projects and initiatives including the National Strategic Plan for Youth , National Strategic Plan for women, National Strategic Plan for child, National NCD Prevention Program ,School Health Promotion , Global Health Survey. & University Health Survey
Dr Mariam held several positions in the clinical, academic medicine as consultant family physician & Maternal and Child supervisor. And she had Several teaching activities, she was:

Prof. Dalal Alromaihi
Bio
Consultant Endocrinologist at Awali Hospital and chair of scientific committee at Bahrain Diabetes Society.
Prof. Alromaihi obtained her MD degree with Honors distinction from Arabian Gulf University
Prof. Alromaihi has the American Board Certification in both internal medicine and Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Worked as a consultant Endocrinologist at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Arizona, USA until she moved back to Bahrain in 2014 and joined King Hamad University Hospital as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Program Director of Saudi Board Internal Medicine residency program. She is currently serving as an associate professor at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland – Bahrain and was awarded the best senior clinical lecturer in 2016.
She is a member of the national committee for combating noncommunicable disease in the kingdom of Bahrain and a board member and chair of scientific committee at Bahrain Diabetes Society.
