  • Medical Nutrition Therapy
  • Physical Activity and Lifestyle Medicine
  • Mental Health and Diabetes/Obesity
  • Women’s Health and Gestational Diabetes
  • Diabetic Foot and Complication Prevention
  • Public Health and Community Initiatives
  • Quality Improvement and Healthcare Innovation
  • Basic, Translational and Clinical Research

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

  1. Abstracts must be submitted by the primary author in English via the conference link.
  2. All abstracts should be submitted electronically through the conference website.
  3. The abstract can be submitted only under poster presentation.
  4. The abstract text must not be more than 250 words excluding the title and author’s information. The abstract should include background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.

Key dates for abstract submission:

  • Online abstract submission opens on   1 August 2026
  • Deadline for online abstract submission: 31 August 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: 10 September 2026

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Word limit: Maximum 300 words (excluding title/authors).
  • Please structure abstracts under the following headings where applicable:
    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • Include:
    • Abstract title
    • Author names and affiliations
    • Presenting author email address
  • Previously presented work may be submitted if appropriately disclosed.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

Review Process

  • Only completed submission is eligible for review.
  • Each abstract is peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers.
  • The authors will be notified of their abstract acceptance by  10 September 2026.
  • Accepted posters will get one free registration for the presenting author.
  • Authors must be standing next to their posters in the allocated time for poster presentation and evaluation.
  • Awards will be presented in the closing ceremony for winning posters.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Best Paediatric Diabetes Research
  • Best Childhood & Adolescent Obesity Research
  • Best Diabetes Education Project
  • People’s Choice Poster

General Conditions:

  • Submission of an abstract confirms that all authors approve the submission.
  • At least one author must register for the conference.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept, reject, or reclassify abstracts
